Extending Meeting Content Beyond the Event

Meetings are often one of the most valuable resource a societies offers to its members, and a significant source of revenue for the organization. Scholarly meetings allow researchers to network with their peers, hear about the latest advancements in the field, find potential collaborators, and promote their work. But unfortunately, meetings only last a couple of days and often proceedings books do not accurately capture the content and discussions that take place.

To overcome these challenges, and provide societies and associations with a cost effective way to create and promote multimedia content after their meetings, ScholarOne and SciVee partnered to create Proceedings OnlineTM

Proceedings Online allows ScholarOne AbstractsTM users to upload their meeting content directly from ScholarOne Abstracts to their own meeting channel on Proceedings Online. From there, administrators and presenters can easily create and upload dynamic content to create videos, ePosters, and other rich media presentations associated with the meeting. This online community allows societies to promote their work both after the meeting and to a wider audience. It also provides a format for members to network and collaborate with one another - they can even create customized blogs.

Proceedings Online lets both associations and their presenters expand their reach and increase the impact of their meeting contact. Learn more >> •
